Pictures of the Outside Areas

Being that it's December and the weather is great somehow, I've been able to get a few pictures outside, mostly just in the yard or at the park. The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear

By |2014-05-08T00:10:18+00:00November 1, 2010|life, photos, video|0 Comments

"What was this?" -Jon Stewart I think it[The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear] was one of those great cases of an event where you have literally thousands of people experiencing the same thing at the same time, and everyone will have their own perspective and experience of the event.  You could tell as the day started and progressed, no one in the crowd knew what to expect, or what would happen.  We were standing here. I had an amazing day, I thought it was a brilliant rally and was just a lot of fun to be at, you really had no idea who was going to come on stage next.  That was until Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow came out to kill some time, which worked well in favor of the Rally goers, during our bored look-around during those performances, we were able to see what had become the final [...]

Art Outside 2010

By |2018-11-30T21:15:21+00:00October 25, 2010|life, photos|0 Comments

We were accepted to Art Outside this year for our art project LZR. The festival was one of the most positive and enjoyable experiences I've ever been to, or been a part of.  It was like a festival for artists, by artists and with mostly artists in attendance.  Everywhere you look you would see something else fantastical, and then meet the person who made it, and then you would have them come by later with the same fascination in whatever you've created.  There was a great air of respect and openminded-ness that permeated the grounds during our three day stay.  Something I won't forget, and certainly something to look forward to next year. I took some video and a few pictures while I was there, so here's a small taste of what could be recorded.  Click through to the youtube page for HD. Venice Skate Park Opening Day

By |2012-03-12T18:46:53+00:00October 3, 2009|photos|0 Comments

Dogtown now has a new park, opening day was a madhouse, but it was awesome to see how much this place meant to all the skaters in the area, they really respected the place and each other. It's comforting to see how well people thrive when placed in an environment where they can be themselves, without judgment from society, I guess that's just the way all of Venice is.   [pe2-gallery album="aHR0cDovL3BpY2FzYXdlYi5nb29nbGUuY29tL2RhdGEvZmVlZC9iYXNlL3VzZXIvMTA1MzQyODU3Njk2NDk4NzE1MDM4L2FsYnVtaWQvNTYyNDc3MTYxMTc1NzA0MjMyMT9hbHQ9cnNzJmFtcDtobD1lbl9VUyZraW5kPXBob3Rv"]

A Few Art Wall Panoramas

By |2009-09-19T14:34:20+00:00September 19, 2009|life, photos|0 Comments

One of the things that I consistently enjoy about living here in Venice is the art that is living around me. And one of the most dynamic and evolving pieces is the Venice Art Walls. These are a few panoramas I've put together, and I really liked how they turned out, photomerge in photoshop can easily put these together, for anyone wondering how to.

Chihuly at the Desert Botanical Gardens

Dave Chihuly is an amazing glass artist, please click through to this website to see just how amazing his work really is. We were at a showcase of his work at the Desert Botanical Gardens, and I snapped a few pics, as someone on the forums said, he did all the hard work of making them look cool, I just was able to take a few pictures of them. Photos in Tipp-C

By |2012-03-22T17:04:40+00:00March 22, 2007|photos, work|0 Comments

During my time at Tipp-C as a photography/design intern, I was able to use a lot of my photography in the magazine, the few of us interns that worked their(Eric & Adam deserve a shout) would design the entire magazine in the weekend before going to press. Tipp-C was an interesting experience, but it was always humbling to see my photos on the cover of a campus wide paper.
