“What was this?”
-Jon Stewart
I think it[The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear] was one of those great cases of an event where you have literally thousands of people experiencing the same thing at the same time, and everyone will have their own perspective and experience of the event. You could tell as the day started and progressed, no one in the crowd knew what to expect, or what would happen. We were standing here.

I had an amazing day, I thought it was a brilliant rally and was just a lot of fun to be at, you really had no idea who was going to come on stage next. That was until Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow came out to kill some time, which worked well in favor of the Rally goers, during our bored look-around during those performances, we were able to see what had become the final size, but then Skeryl Crow sang another song, and the lack of interest peaked at this point during the rally.
But the low points are greatly overshadowed by the high points, Peace-Crazy-Love-Train, Giant Puppet Colbert, Jon had to sing, and seeing everyone there, that was the best part, just seeing the crowd, it was a lot of people, and everyone was very respectful to each other and their surroundings. It wasn’t a perfect crowd, there’s still the loud commentators standing right behind us who lived in DC and thought they should stop by to see this whole “Rally” thing, but that’s the thing, it’s never perfect, and never will be. My favorite part of Jon’s speech was that there will always be darkness, but we get through it together, using the analogy of a freeway tunnel. We all have to compromise everyday, and people unwilling to compromise are noticed by the others, but we can’t do anything about them, we can only handle ourselves, and be willing to be the change we want to see in the world, not demand it from everyone else.
I made a short montage of the rally using my canon 60d and schmoyoho‘s autotuned tune.
Here’s just a plain crowd shot to try to show the scope from where we
And here’s a few photos from the day.
My dearest thanks go out to everyone that was a part of this, from reddit to Jon & Stephen, to Mel & Molly for keeping me company, to everyone that made it out and made it what it was, thank you for a memorable day.

We were accepted to Art Outside this year for our art project LZR.
The festival was one of the most positive and enjoyable experiences I’ve ever been to, or been a part of. It was like a festival for artists, by artists and with mostly artists in attendance. Everywhere you look you would see something else fantastical, and then meet the person who made it, and then you would have them come by later with the same fascination in whatever you’ve created. There was a great air of respect and openminded-ness that permeated the grounds during our three day stay. Something I won’t forget, and certainly something to look forward to next year.
I took some video and a few pictures while I was there, so here’s a small taste of what could be recorded. Click through to the youtube page for HD.
The parade saturday night
The Life-Sized Mousetap
Arc Attack performing the Star Spangled Banner
and Ciara Blossom with the fire hoop
Here’s a gallery of shots I managed to get while walking around, although pictures only show so much, it’s one of those things that you should check out for yourself.
Shot and edited together a short video of our LZR set up at Art Outside this year.
Can’t say much now, but we’re putting our application together for Art Outside this year, here’s a little video of what we’re working with.

I was contracted to make a logo for a new company focused in international trade with China. The founders formed the name SinoLynx, LLC and asked me to come up with whatever came to mind. Here are the four original choices I sent them.

There was a unanimous choice for 3, with the small revision of adding an actual “lynx” to the image. Which can be seen in the final version here :

I’ll be developing the site as well, and will post links to that as it get’s completed.
I assisted in the filming and editing of this video with Patrick Morrison and Zac Witte of 4320 Productions. We camped out with the Millenium Disc Golf Crew for the weekend, and spent some time with some serious disc golfers. I found the song on thesixtyone.com, it’s King Tut’s They’re All Just Happening

My friends in Hello Hawk asked for a music video. I had personally gone through a break up, and I felt it would be a fun way to show what happened and do this whole short story about my side of things and whatever else.
But I changed my mind, and decided to completely forgive/forget/accept the whole memory and make something else to take my mind of it entirely, realized thinking longer about that would just recycle the same terrible thoughts, so I did something completely different.
In any case, it was kind of my own way of moving on, because dwelling is always useless.
So I utilized some footage a friend gave me who advised me to “do what I will with it”, and I did. Thanks again Craig, for the hour of dance footage you gave me.

Some concert photography from some smaller local shows.
And 2009 is finally over, was it a weird year for you too?
With the welcoming of 2010, I have left my positions at Impulse One & 15 Rose, and have moved to Austin, TX. A better opportunity had presented itself to me in the time of searching, and I couldn’t resist, in fact, an overwhelming sense of purpose led me to my move, and keeps me excited and enthusiastic about the future of my being, and the future of my work.
To all of those at Impulse One and 15 Rose, I hope for the best, and know you will do well with what you’re trying to do, and I am always available for help if you ever need it.
Stay tuned for more, now reporting from Austin, TX, in the year 2010…and beyond….
We finally closed the deal on http:/ineed.headshotenergyshot.com, we’ve been liquidating our own product online at 80% off the retail price, and it almost worked, we had some good momentum, but then we failed to delivery…literally. Shipping problems on top of the inventory problem that put us in this mess in the first place made these last 6 months a very tiring liquidation campaign, and now we are finally done with that.
And I breathe a sigh of relief, but only for a moment, I’ll feel great when they’re all shipped and accounted for, and I won’t get another, “I ordered sometime in july, just wondering wtf?” We’re still going through lost orders and backtracking all the shipments to make sure everyone gets their package, but we’re no longer taking any more orders, surprisingly enough we managed to get rid of them all(through several different efforts).
We dropped off a few pallets here at the 15 Rose for awhile, and that turned into an interesting experiment. Leaving them out, then encouraging people to take as much as they want, worked well for the first round of pallets. Three pallets sat in our breezeway for one month before they were taken by the locals willing to grab a few, we ordered three more pallets and they lasted only 4 days, I don’t really know how that happened.
Pictures of the Outside Areas
Being that it’s December and the weather is great somehow, I’ve been able to get a few pictures outside, mostly just in the yard or at the park.
