Chris is right, super-cache is a good plug in to include in your wordpress site in any case.

Godaddy as a host still may not be as fast as you want it though, so bottom line is, the cheapest option on godaddy is the cheapest option, you’ll get what you pay for.

Another great first step to increase WordPress performance is to use a caching plugin like WP Super Cache. It saves your content into static HTML files, allowing anonymous users (99% of traffic) to view the cached pages with significantly decreased impact on server performance. Other advanced options of WP Super Cache include using a CDN to serve CSS or images.

Nice! I’m tired of comparing business card sites and trying to figure out how I’m going to differentiate my card from others. Yet another thing to add to the list of things I want/should do sometime soonish. Now, if only I trusted myself to at least get the typography right for the card.

Also, I’d not heard of Pirate Sandals before, so thanks for that.

Don’t get your hopes down, the people who are whining are either middle aged unmarried men with nothing better to do, or 14 year old kids who just figured out how to use a paypal. Good luck with your business and free is free people wait up to 8 weeks for free stuff without complaints, this should be no different for them. You will never find a place where people won’t complain just ignore the 5 or 6 who are complaining and focus on the 100s who aren’t complaining. Keep in mind for every unhappy customer you have 100x more happy ones.
