A Few Art Wall Panoramas
One of the things that I consistently enjoy about living here in Venice is the art that is living around me. And one of the most dynamic and evolving pieces is the Venice Art Walls. These are a few panoramas I’ve put together, and I really liked how they turned out, photomerge in photoshop can easily put these together, for anyone wondering how to.
Chihuly at the Desert Botanical Gardens
Dave Chihuly is an amazing glass artist, please click through to this website to see just how amazing his work really is. We were at a showcase of his work at the Desert Botanical Gardens, and I snapped a few pics, as someone on the forums said, he did all the hard work of making them look cool, I just was able to take a few pictures of them.
Check out the rest of my set from the DBG on flickr
Backyard Weeds
It’s pretty amazing what backyard weeds look like when you let them grow for a few months. One of those things that I won’t always be allowed the pleasure of seeing everyday, and something I was happy to look at today.
edit: I realized after posting this that my roomates had the lawn treated today, a few hours after taking those, so all those odd plants are gone now.

From the first time I visited to Mulberry Mountain, here’s the set:
All the ducks are standing in the snow
While in Big Bear after the wonderful NYE party we were walking around Big Bear Lake when we came across a flock of ducks standing in the snow. While we stood there staring at them, they started walking towards us, and then surrounded us, we soon found ourselves in the middle of all these ducks just trying to find any water and probably hoping we would feed them, like most of the other humans they encounter. I’ve thrown up the new pictures on my flickr and I’m trying to figure out one of these wordpress plugins so I can just show the photosets on this site…
edit: well I haven’t gotten the flickr manager to work exactley the way I want it, but it kind of works for now, I did get distracted enough to update the css, now I can read everything much better…
edit 2: Trent, the author of the flickr manager plugin, helped me out, and now there’s photo galleries on the site. yay! I’m so motivated by this new wordpress backend that I may make a few more posts tonight to keep playing with this plugin.

The San Diego Zoo

I upped a very small set from the San Diego zoo to flickr, it’s one of those places that you can’t really capture with a camera, you can only really experience it yourself. I still tried to take a few, because it’s still worth a shot, and you get some good pics and what you can capture.
An Introduction to Red Devil
I put together this short introductory video for Red Devil Energy Drink for the 2007 NACS show in Atlanta. Featuring the up beats of RJD2, I was able to create a personality for the Devil, and keep the high energy for all of our worldwide sponsor clips.
Check out the other pictures I took at the event, I did manage to record some video, but I don’t really know what I’m going to do with it, there’s not much more than C-Store owners talking giggly with our girls, the pictures can tell the whole story.
Actually, this picture alone probably tells pretty much tells the whole story:

Venice Skate Park Opening Day
Dogtown now has a new park, and it is siiiiick. Opening day was a madhouse, but it was awesome to see how much this place meant to all the skaters in the area, they really respected the place and each other. It’s comforting to see how well people thrive when placed in an environment where they can be themselves without judgment from society, I guess that’s just the way all of Venice is.
