I managed to shoot a bit of random footage throughout the day/night, and did remember to record at least one song all the way through, allowing me to make a music video of the event! Reminded me of the lake video, and makes me think I should make more music videos of party footage, they’re might be a niche market for that somewhere.

4th of July

Well, our 4th at the 15 was a blast, we started playing music and offering beer/food around 1pm, and ended up throwing a bash. We had neighbors, people from the street, and a few friends, Treeman even made an appearance for a short while. I only wish I took some more pictures, maybe it’s time I get that point and shoot I’ve been looking at, I need a camera in my pocket that isn’t a phone.

I started spinning around 6 and didn’t stop until midnight. I recorded a bit of the set, so feel free to download it. Playing on the fly like that is always fun, but sometimes the mix isn’t that smooth, so sorry about any odd transitions. All in all it was a pretty great time. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and making the day so enjoyable.

Since there’s a limit on the number of songs one can upload at thesixtyone, so I’ve decided to start up a tumblr for RunRight so I can just keep posting these recordings as I make them. I’ll figure out podcasting next, but this will work for now, it’s all a runright site needs to be.

HARD Halloween videos

I was able to grab a few videos of two very sweet light shows. The guy with the glowstix I overheard was the founding of glowsticking.com, I have no idea how true that statement was, but he was really smooth none the less.

And Ask Ketchum’s gotta catch em all…
